This painting invokes the memories I have of tramping through the native forest of New Zealand and the beautiful crystal clear water roaring over the mossy rocks.
It tells the story of sun rise after morning rain which is purifying and cleansing. I wanted to convey the freshness of the cool morning and beginning of a new day. Most importantly to almost hear the sound of the water.
