I have long been fascinated by the concept of the forest guardians in the form of spirits or fairies. It reveals the idea of a Maori maiden clothed by nature, serenely watching over her domain.
Integrated in the picture is my love of the New Zealand native bush with warm light filtering through the trees with the crystal clear water flowing behind her.
